Inspections

  • Inspection- Fireplaces and Woodstoves

Our in-depth inspection process examines your chimney from the fireplace, furnace, or boiler connection to the chimney crown and cap. We meticulously inspect every part of your chimney, removing necessary components to ensure a thorough evaluation. Please note that inspections are performed per flue, as many chimneys may have multiple flues.
  • Inspection- Furnaces and Boilers

Furnaces, boilers, and water heaters fueled by natural gas or home heating oil most often vent their hazardous by-products through the chimney. This flue is often overlooked or treated as out of sight, out of mind. However, the condition of this flue is critical to the safe use of these appliances, and always warrant their own inspection.

Chimney flues need to be swept regularly to remove soot, creosote, and other materials that can accumulate inside the flue.  These materials can reduce the efficiency of your fireplace and create a potentially hazardous situation.

When the condition of clay flue liners no longer meet the requirements of code, stainless-steel chimney liners can be installed to return your chimney to use.  We install stainless-steel flue liners that come with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.  We also install stand along “Class A” systems where venting is required, but a chimney doesn’t exist.

The chimney structure often requires masonry repairs for a number of reasons.  We can repair or replace the crown at the top of the chimney, replace damaged or missing bricks in the chimney body, and re-point the mortar joints holding the bricks together when they become deteriorated or are missing.

Caps and Crowns

  • Caps: We install durable chimney caps in stainless-steel, powder coated stainless-steel, and copper. Pricing is based on material used, cap size, and mounting requirements.
  • Crowns: Our team can repair or rebuild your chimney crown and seal it with a flexible membrane to protect against water damage. Pricing depends on the size and extent of the work required.
  • Chase Covers: We install custom chase covers that are expertly sealed. Pricing will be quoted after an inspection.

Liner Systems

We install "M-Flex" stainless steel liner systems for re-lining your chimney. These UL-listed systems come with a lifetime transferable warranty. After installation, we provide warranty documentation, register it with the manufacturer, and supply you with maintenance instructions—ensuring your peace of mind.

Liners are priced on a per-foot basis and fall into three categories:

  • Drop-in
  • Drop-in with breakout/insulation
  • Drop-in with breakout and insulation

Our technicians are transparent about pricing and will explain how they arrived at your quote.
